About Hangman
Hangman has been a pencil-and-paper game since at least the Victorian era. One player thinks of a word; the other guesses letters one at a time. Each wrong guess draws one more body part on a stick figure. The classic figure has six parts, giving you six wrong guesses.
Letter frequency tip
In English, the most common letters are E, T, A, O, I, N, S, H, R. Guess those first before less common letters like Q, X, or Z.
